The United Society of Artists
The United Society of Artists brings together contemporary artists whose work covers a broad spectrum of style, subjects and media. Several UA Members are members of other recognised national art societies including the Royal Society of Oil Painters, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Society of Marine Artists, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and the much respected Wapping Group of plein air painters. The Society enables Members to show and be promoted in exhibitions at different galleries and locations throughout the UK.
Any exhibition of work by UA members is always an exciting and eclectic mix of artistic mediums. Styles range from representational to abstraction and conceptual. UA members cover a diverse range of approaches including figurative, impressionist and expressionist. This diversity and openness to ideas is what helps to make the UA distinctive in character and so welcoming to new artists.

Becoming a Member:
Artists wishing to become candidates for membership of the UA may be nominated by an existing Member or may apply directly themselves.
As well as the Annual Exhibition, the UA holds exhibitions throughout the year. A variety of locations, in London and outside, enables Members of the Society to show their work to new audiences and gallery owners.
